Letter from the President
I am very excited and honored to be the 2024 MLWC president. In my short time living in Medford Lakes, I’ve become completely smitten with this town. I’ve always believed that community is one of the most important things we can have in this world. I believe we lead happier lives when we have a sense of belonging and are part of something bigger than ourselves. MLWC is such a wonderful way to foster community for the women in this town. I have had the pleasure of meeting so many strong, motivated, and uplifting women through this club, and I hope to continue that for the new women who move here. I hope to make the most of my presidency by inspiring and encouraging ladies to know that they truly are valuable and that their involvement, no matter how small, can help make the world a better place. The word that I chose to represent my year is UNITY. Through unity, we can accomplish anything. I am excited to continue the 82 years long legacy of bringing the women of Medford Lakes together.
This year, we will be continuing to manage and host our beloved events, some of which will have a new twist. In addition, we are excited to be accepting proposals to support projects within the community.
Whether you’re new to this area, have lived here for many years, and desire an opportunity to make new friends, we invite you to join our club. Our monthly meetings are a great time for you to visit or join us for our various get-togethers. Come see what we are all about. There is something for everyone.
