Our Events

MLWC manages multiple events throughout the year. Our larger fundraising events are extended out to all residents of the town, and some of our smaller social events are for club members only. Check out our calendar often to see whats coming up.

Our Ongoing Activities

These are events that MLWC members manage and are recurring throughout the year. Our calendar and facebook group has more detailed information about these events.

Monthly Meeting

Generally held the third Thursday of the month, our Monthly Meetings are for members to get updates on club happenings, upcoming fundraiser needs and catch up with friends. Our calendar shows the location of each upcoming meeting. Bring a drink or app to share.

StoryTime

Generally the first Saturday of the month, StoryTime is open to all Colony members to come enjoy a book and a craft with their littles. Geared towards Kindergarteners and under, a theme is chosen for each month for you and your children to enjoy.

Workout Warriors

Join us for some monthly
“me” time. All MLWC members are welcome to break a sweat at a class led by a certified fitness instructor. These classes are free to attend for all current members.

Summer Social

Summer Social is our “Members Only +1” yearly party to celebrate all the hard work our members put into MLWC. We let our hair down, relax and unwind.

Trail Clean-up

We don’t mind getting a little dirty. Once a quarter we hold a trail clean-up. A specific trail or area of Medford Lakes is chosen and we beautify it.

Our Yearly Fundraisers

These are the events we throw each year for our town, and they serve as MLWC fundraisers. Each of these fundraisers has a team of women behind the scenes planning, organizing and pulling off a fun event. Its due to all of our wonderful member volunteers we’re able to continue to host these events for the community. The money earned at these events can then help fund various community projects through a proposal review process.

Easter Events

Breakfast with Bunny at Vaughn Hall and Easter Egg Hunts at Brooks Field, Beach 1 and Jackson Park. Always held the Saturday before Easter Sunday. Check back soon for more information on ticket sales and age groups for Egg Hunts

Medford Lakes Day

Held the first Sunday in May, Medford Lakes Day offers a chance to come out for a day of family fun and get to know all our clubs and organizations a bit better. Food Trucks, a Beer Garden, Bounce Houses, Craft Vendors and games galore.

Amazing Pace

Held in early Fall, Amazing Pace is a fun challenge event. Grab your team of 4 and your bikes, and ride around town stopping at different addresses to compete in games, trivia, and physical challenges. Prizes and after party complete the fun.

Holiday House Tour and Craft Fair

Here’s your chance to get in the Holiday Spirit and check out some of the most decorated houses in town. Stop at each address to enjoy a beverage and complete your tour with a Holiday Craft Fair held at Vaughn Hall.

Ugly Sweater Bike Ride

Grab you family and ride around to some holiday cheer. A map will be provided of where you can stop for some holiday themed crafts, games, and treats. Make as few or as many stops as you’d like.
